Privacy notice
This notice explains how Sakaleshpur Shiva Shankara (“SSS”, “we”, “us”) handles information submitted through the Vikkypaedia learning registration form.
Information we collect
- Name and email address entered by the learner.
- The learning module selected.
- The date and time of registration.
- Basic technical information that WordPress or its security tools may record to operate and protect the website.
Why we use it
We use registration information to measure interest in each module, understand who is using the learning resources, respond to learner enquiries, maintain the service and plan improvements. We do not use the registration form to make clinical decisions or to collect patient information.
Storage and access
Form submissions are stored in the website’s WordPress database and are accessible to authorised website administrators. Learners should not enter patient names, clinical records, passwords or other sensitive information in the registration fields.
For returning-learner convenience, the registration page may store only the most recently selected module and the date of selection in the learner’s browser. This device-only shortcut does not store the learner’s name or email address and can be cleared through the browser’s site-data controls.
Sharing and international services
The modules are hosted on GitHub Pages and open after registration. GitHub may process technical information according to its own privacy practices. We do not sell learner registration information.
Retention
Registration records are kept only for as long as they remain useful for participation analysis, learner support and the operation of the learning programme. Records may be anonymised or deleted when they are no longer required.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of or deletion of your registration information by emailing vikramsakaleshpurkumar@gmail.com. We may ask for reasonable information to confirm that the request relates to you.
Educational scope
Vikkypaedia modules are independent educational resources. They do not replace clinical judgement, institutional protocols or accredited provider training, and registration does not record or certify course completion.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice when the learning service or its data practices change. The date below identifies the current version.
